Growing up in South Africa my deep seated love for jewellery making sprung from a rich heritage of being in the family jewellery stores.

Artisans, whose skills were passed from one generation to the next, would bring gemstones and precious metals together to create truly beautiful art. One could only watch in wonder as magic unfolded.

My studio in the historical setting of the Millmount Craft Centre, Drogheda, County Louth gives me the opportunity to meet new people and to interact with other crafts people – all of which is inspirational.

The vast array of colours, textures, myths and legends of gemstones fascinates me and to be able to incorporate these in my work is a special privilege. While not everyone believes it the metaphysical properties of gemstones, I like to keep an open mind – what works for one person may not work for another, how amazing if these properties help us to help ourselves though!

The beauty of the Irish coastline and the ever changing colours of nature are constant inspirations. My pieces are a combination of the classic and modern. The durability, versatility and beauty of the gemstones can be integrated with clay, resin and other mixed media to create pieces that are beautiful and unique.

My limited edition collections have something for every woman and offer her opportunity to enjoy enhancing her own inner splendor while knowing that her piece is one of very few.

Working with my clients on special commissions and seeing how the final piece meets their needs makes the creation really worthwhile. The freedom to create limited edition pieces allows me to use quality ingredients and hand make jewellery here in Ireland.

I truly love what I do and am grateful to be able to share this with you.
